think before you speak

I know that I dont have anyone that follows these blogs but its a way to vent. Why is it, people without thinking say some of the most hurtful things? I believe in honesty but what was said to me tonight by my OWN mother could possibly be one of the most hurtful things she has ever said to me. She didnt like my response to what she said so she gets defensive and we end up in a screaming match on the phone. I really cant believe that again I am wrong and she is right. I love my mom with all of my heart but she just upsets me when she says things like what she did tonight. Apparently she didnt listen to me when I told her the reason why what happened went the way it did. I have enough to worry about, whats going on with my daughter, the upcoming surgery and then she wants to say what she did and make me feel like crap. I know if she were to read this that she would say that I was doing a pity me thing and that has nothing to do with it. If she were in my situation and I said to her what she said to me she would have reacted the same way. I am not saying I am sorry first this time, its always me saying I am sorry and she has to realize what she said was uncalled for and just plain rude.
